Classic Starts: Robinson Crusoe

Retold and abridged by Deanna McFadden

A book for readers in grades 2 and up reviewed by Kalyna

In this book, a man named Robinson Crusoe runs away from home to pursue his dream of being a sailor. Robinson meets many new people and goes on various adventures, which leads him to be stranded on a desert island all alone and left to survive.

Classic Starts: Robinson Crusoe is a very well-executed book that includes all of the things I like in an action-packed story. I personally loved the cliffhangers and unexpected events throughout the book. I would recommend it to many people so they can enjoy the story as much as I did.
